GM's Update - June 2026
Dear Somfy Friends and Valued Partners,
It was an absolute pleasure meeting many of you at SuperExpo! As my first-ever experience at the event, I must say I was truly amazed by its exceptional quality, the outstanding organisation by the WSAA and the remarkable effort exhibited by the stands, all united in driving the industry forward.
What made the event even more special was the opportunity to connect with so many of you. Sharing perspectives on business together, engaging in meaningful discussions and exploring how we can achieve more as collaborators - it made this experience unforgettable.
We were thrilled to have the chance to exhibit at SuperExpo, unveiling a range of exciting innovations. From the new battery RTS motors with a USB-C charging port and enhanced noise performance, to the revamped Zigbee commissioning experience, set to transform the installation process for automated blinds and curtains; we showcased solutions tailored for a smarter, more seamless automation journey.
Additionally, we introduced the new WTe motor offer designed for high-end residential and commercial wired installations, alongside a complete outdoor ecosystem operating Somfy and Teleco ecosystems via RTS to control both motors and lighting solutions. These efforts reflect our commitment to addressing diverse market needs, driving automation growth and delivering value-added solutions through smarter installation and integration.
The positive feedback we’ve received has been incredibly encouraging, motivating us even more to bring these solutions to market and support you with a robust mix of innovation and service. Starting with the launch of the new battery RTS motors in October, we’re fully prepared to deliver these exceptional offerings.
In preparation for the rollout, we will be organising several training sessions across the country. Stay tuned for updates from your sales representative regarding the schedule.
As we step into a new financial year, we remain focused on overcoming macroeconomic challenges and advancing the automation experience for users, manufacturers, retailers and installers. By emphasising clear benefits like enhanced comfort and energy savings, exemplified and highlighted by tools such as WincovER, automation can truly reach new heights.
Wishing you success in the months ahead,
Warm regards,
Henri Laniece
