Blind Manufacturers Association of Australia

The Voice of the Industry for 60 Years

The Blind Manufacturers Association of Australia (BMAA) is the industry association in Australia which represents the manufacturers of blinds, awnings and shutters, as well as component suppliers, throughout Australia. Our members range from small family businesses to large national organisations.

The BMAA is a membership-based organisation that is the voice for the industry. BMAA lobbies on behalf of the industry on matters that will impact on manufacturers and suppliers. The Association has operated in Queensland since 1947, and has provided over 60 years of service to the industry. The BMAA evolved from the Venetian Blind Manufacturers' Association of Queensland, and is now the peak organisation for the industry.

Launched in 2002, the GBCA is a national, not-for-profit organisation that is committed to developing a sustainable property industry for Australia by encouraging the adoption of green building practices. It is uniquely supported by both industry and governments across the country.

Mission The Green Building Council's mission is to develop a sustainable property industry for Australia and drive the adoption of green building practices through market-based solutions.

Objectives Its key objectives are to drive the transition of the Australian property industry towards sustainability by promoting green building programs, technologies, design practices and operations as well as the integration of green building initiatives into mainstream design, construction and operation of buildings.

The Specialised Textiles Association is a national association representing fabricators, installers and suppliers of textiles, equipment, accessories and services in the specialised textiles industry.

Specialised Textiles Association mission is to maintain relevance in the industry by working with members to provide and share information and facilitate the development of our industry.
