GM's Update - September 2025

I hope this message finds you well and that you and your teams are gearing up for the upcoming high season, especially after the rainy August we experienced.

At Somfy, we are fully prepared and committed to delivering outstanding service. We are proud to report that our customer service ratings have consistently exceeded 95% over the past few months. With our robust stock levels and logistics capabilities, we are well-equipped to support you throughout this busy season. To add a touch of spring, we are thrilled to introduce our Spring Into Shade Promotion, which focuses on our outdoor product range, particularly external screens, providing added value for new installations.

We also have exciting product launches to share. We are expanding our curtain automation line with two new models. First, the Glydea Ultra 50 WireFree Zigbee, which leverages Zigbee technology to offer a remarkable solution for battery-operated curtains with a capacity of up to 50 kg. Secondly, we are enhancing the Movelite range with the introduction of Movelite 60, which complements our flagship Glydea Ultra. With these new additions to the curtain range, we are committed to offering you the best solutions in curtain automation to address different market segments, with Somfy brand’s unique attributes of quality, reliability, and exceptional service.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce that TaHoma continues to expand its compatibility with 3rd party systems, now integrating seamlessly with SmartThings. This advancement allows window shades to become an integral part of users preferred smart home ecosystems, with a seamless integration using TaHoma.

On another note, we wanted to highlight our industry body, the Window Shading Association of Australia (WSAA). Our association has evolved recently to represent the entire window shading industry, from manufacturers to retailers. They are doing an excellent job of fostering community engagement, advocating for our industry, and providing valuable insights. As active members of the association, we invite you to join us in supporting the WSAA by becoming members. We are convinced that together, we can build a united and forward-thinking community that drives growth within our industry.
