Habitat for Humanity Gala

The Somfy Oceania team were thrilled to attend Habitat for Humanity's Gala dinner at the Parliament House of NSW on Thursday, 10th May. The night was successful in raising over $170,000 for families in need - the highest amount raised at a Habitat Australia Gala dinner.

Somfy supported the gala dinner with a table of 10 and were joined by suppliers, customers and industry friends.

Somfy Oceania proudly 'put their hand up' for Habitat, contributing a house to a family in need in the Asia Pacific region. The funds go towards building homes and changing lives through access to water, sanitation and livelihood opportunities.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organisation which has helped close to ten million people obtain safe and decent housing. 

Somfy Group are major supporters of Habitat via Somfy Foundation's international program A House Is A Home, providing accommodation for those in need.

Locally, Somfy has partnered with Habitat to provide adequate housing, helping to furnish five apartments last year with more volunteer projects planned for the coming months.
