MD's Update - December 2022

Festive season is almost upon us, with hopefully everyone reading this issue of Motoreyes able to take a well-deserved break over the holiday period.

2022 has been a year like no other, bullish business off the back of the COVID pandemic but with it has been all the challenges. Weather, labor shortages, supply chain impacts - just to name some biggies! Regarding supply, we are almost there… the end of November we were ‘back in the black’ on supply of Situo remotes, having fulfilled all sales backorders. There remains two items as a ‘hangover’ from the global semi-conductor chip shortage, Telis 16 & MODVAR Receivers; on these item’s visibility is improving.

We are all looking forward to 2023, a fresh start to an exciting New Year. Already we are all talking about the BMAA SuperExpo scheduled for early June on the Gold Coast. As I understand it, the show is 100% sold out already. It will be a great place to showcase our new innovations and to celebrate collectively as an Industry.

I take this opportunity to thank you, our loyal and dedicated Customers and Somfy Staff for all your efforts in 2022.
