MD's Update - July 2023

Dear Somfy Valued Customers, Partners and Friends,

It’s hard to believe it has already been a month since we exhibited at SuperExpo on the Gold Coast. It was another successful show for the ANZ Window Furnishing Industry, with Somfy launching multiple key smart shading solutions as we take the leap forward into a connected future.

For Somfy, the highlight of the three days was our customer event which saw well over one hundred customers fill our stand to join us for drinks and nibbles. It was fantastic to connect face-to-face with you all, many of whom we have not been able to catch up with since the last SuperExpo pre-COVID.

At BMAA Board level, the specific details of the SuperExpo show will be reviewed in the August Board meeting, so I’m keen to know how it went from that perspective.  

Since the show, Somfy have been busy preparing our launch plans for all the new products you were among the first to witness at SuperExpo, namely our trio of complementary TaHoma suite tools and Zigbee 3.0 technology.

We are currently rolling out the first of these tools, TaHoma switch, to all our Somfy Retail Expert Partners ahead of our national launch in September.

In the meantime, read on to learn more about the exciting products we are launching this month, including the latest edition to our WireFree range - the Sonesse 40 WireFree RTS motor.

Supply continues to remain strong, and we are well-equipped to support you coming into high season in the following months. Somfy places great emphasis on investing in growing the market, from trade exhibitions like SuperExpo, to our end-user focused digital campaigns supporting and benefiting all our partners. As such, we are seeing higher quality leads being shared with our Retail Expert Partners, as well as high conversion rates.
