MD's Update - September 2023

I hope this issue of Motoreyes finds you well and you and your teams are ready for high season.

The Somfy team are here, well poised, and ready to fully support you. Supply is back, sales are solid, and we have great momentum with the roll-out of TaHoma switch to our Somfy Retail Expert Partners (REP’s). After launching at the beginning of this month, around 80% of Somfy Experts already have TaHoma switch installed and commissioned in their retail showrooms with the balance happening over the next month or so.

The feedback since SuperExpo about our new product launches has been incredibly positive and encouraging. This issue of Motoreyes also shares our latest product launches and rationalisations, along with our updated pricelist to reflect the additions to our product range.

To celebrate the launch of Amazon Alexa’s new skill allowing for direct connection with Connexoon Window RTS, Somfy is also currently running a promotion exclusively for customers of Somfy Experts. End-users have the chance to claim a free Amazon Echo Dot when they purchase one or more Somfy RTS motors and a Connexoon Window RTS from a Somfy Expert, supporting our Retail Expert Network and stimulating demand in the market.

Whilst the window coverings market has ‘softened’ in the past 6-months when compared to the COVID ‘Home Improvements Surge’ high activity levels, we are confident that consumers remain loyal to trusted brands and Industry partners. On this point, if you are thinking about travelling to R+T Stuttgart in February 2024, please register your interest below so we can include you in our visit and exhibition plans.
