Somfy's Enhanced Motor Shaft

Somfy’s globally patented enhanced motor shaft is now available with more WireFree motors:

• Altus 28 WireFree RTS Li-ion V2 [1241151]
• Altus 28 WireFree RTS V2 [1241163]
• Sonesse 30 WireFree RTS Li-ion [1240512]

The new quick drive assembly saves up to 15 seconds, removing the need for you to manually assemble a washer and screw to the motor shaft. 

 Simply, lift the C-ring to the open position, insert the drive wheel and push the C-ring down to secure.

When you order one of the above motors, you will automatically be moved to an 'Index C' motor which will be easily identifiable thanks to the ‘Quick Assembly’ sticker on the box. 

Note: the total motor length increases by 2mm after the C-ring is secured.
