Somfy x Samsung SmartThings

Somfy, the global leader in window and door automation, and SmartThings, Samsung’s connected living platform, recently announced compatibility between the Somfy Connectivity Platform TaHoma® and the SmartThings app in Australia. This expansion brings enhanced automation capabilities to a broader audience, enabling more homeowners to experience the benefits of connected living.

Somfy-powered Zigbee and RTS solutions connected to a TaHoma switch hub can now be controlled through SmartThings with a single touch or automatically, at home or remotely. Users can also integrate Somfy solutions into existing SmartThings automations and scenes.

For example, users can create a ‘Home Cinema’ scene which would turn on the TV, dim the lights, and close the curtains and blinds to create the perfect ambiance for family movie night.
